This is the most crucial election in our lifetimes. Urge others to watch this debate “In Their Own Words.”
Thanks to the 65 or so folks who showed up at El Guapo’s in Denton Monday night to watch the Presidential debate. We had people from Carrollton, Little Elm, Dallas, Highland Village, Corinth, Denton, Lake Dallas, Shady Shores, Justin, Sanger and even a visitor from Iowa! We had a great time and enjoyed not only great camaraderie shouting at the big screen tv’s that Point Bank’s Ray David provided for the event, but also enjoyed Mike Zampino’s excellent Tex-Mex food. And special thanks to Kathy Carrington for putting the debate watch party together! No doubt there was a similar crowd in Frisco for their debate watch party. I think we all agree that Gov. Romney delivered another fine performance and showed himself to be very capable of being our Commander in Chief.
If you haven’t yet voted, please plan to do so as soon as possible. The first day of early voting had an excess of 12,000 Denton county voters cast their ballots, compared to just over 4000 in 2010’s first day and about 10,000 for 2008’s Presidential election. We are enthused and we are excited to vote for our strong GOP slate — and we are ready to take back our country!
