Thank you to everyone who voted and helped deliver this historic property tax cut!

After many months of hard work and an unwavering dedication to deliver, Texans will now see a significant cut to their tax bill thanks to the passage of Prop 4. I am proud of the work I put in to deliver the increase in homestead exemptions. When I got to the legislature, they were at $25,000. Now, Texan homeowners will enjoy a $100,000 homestead exemption and $12 billion in tax relief to lower local school tax rates.
