You have likely seen the headlines or TV news coverage – extreme-left anti-Israel protests have been flaring up across our country, including right here at our Texas State Capitol and on our college campuses. The antisemitic rhetoric is horrific and abhorrent. It is beyond disturbing. I applaud Governor Greg Abbott for taking action. As he recently announced, the Texas Education Agency will be providing key resources to our public schools to counter misinformation regarding the Israel-Hamas war and battle back against antisemitism.
