A Night of Patriotism, Unity, and Texas Pride Celebrating 250 Years of American History
On July 2, 2026, the Denton County Republican Party (DCRP) hosted its second annual Faith, Family, and Freedom: An American Celebration at Lucky Spur Ranch in Justin, Texas. The event brought together hundreds of patriots to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary through inspiring speeches, live music, fellowship, and an unmistakable spirit of unity.
The evening began with the stirring sounds of bagpipes, setting a powerful patriotic tone that carried throughout the celebration. From the opening moments, one message rang loud and clear: Denton County is special because of its people.
Guests from Tarrant County, Harris County, and communities across Texas all asked the same question: What makes Denton County so successful? The answer was evident throughout the evening. The DCRP is built on patriots who choose unity over division, service over recognition, and shared conservative values over personal ambition. When people focus on advancing the mission instead of seeking credit, remarkable things happen.
That spirit perfectly reflects President Ronald Reagan’s timeless observation:
“There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don’t care who gets the credit.”
As someone deeply involved with the Denton County Republican Party, I’ve had the privilege of seeing that philosophy lived out firsthand. It is one of the defining reasons Denton County continues to serve as a model for conservative leadership across Texas.

The program featured outstanding remarks from Senator Brent Hagenbuch, Representative Richard Hayes, Marco Hunter Lopez, and other distinguished leaders who shared their vision for the future of Texas and our nation.
