| Last week was busy in HD 64 as two major events occurred: I kicked off my re-election campaign with a huge turnout and Governor Abbott announced he is calling lawmakers back to Austin on October 9th.
Before I hit the road back to the Capitol, I wanted to thank everyone who made it to the Cars & BBQ campaign kickoff. It was our biggest event yet as we packed the venue with more than 200 Denton and Wise County supporters. I have always been supported from within the communities because I have dedicated my life to serving North Texas.
