I pray that you are having a blessed Sunday! We are a little over a week out from the end of session, and my fellow Legislators and I are working around the clock to get strong, conservative, legislation passed that keeps the Texas Miracle Alive. The legislative session will end on Monday, May 29th and we still have a lot of work left to get done before then. That is why the Senate will be meeting today to continue debating and voting on legislation. The Local & Uncontested Calendar will begin at 4 pm, where bills of the local nature, that are agreed to, are heard and passed in an expedited manner. Then at 5 pm, the general session will begin.
