Today, I announce my decision not to seek reelection after 12 incredible years in service to the people of Texas. This decision has been a deeply personal one, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported me throughout this journey.

First and foremost, I want to thank my loving wife Lydia and my children for their unwavering support and understanding. They have been the bedrock of my commitment to public service, and I am grateful for the sacrifices they made as a family.
