It was great to be back in the Capitol this week for the third special session. Thank you to all who came down to the Capitol to testify during the committee hearings and all who called to share their thoughts, I always enjoy getting to hear from my constituents. I’m proud to share that after 15 hours of debate and discussion on the Senate floor on Thursday, the Senate passed legislation addressing border security, school choice, increasing school funding, increasing penalties against human smuggling, and ending COVID vaccine mandates.
