It was great to be back in the Capitol this week for the third special session. Thank you to all who came down to the Capitol to testify during the committee hearings and all who called to share their thoughts, I always enjoy getting to hear from my constituents. I’m proud to share that after 15 hours of debate and discussion on the Senate floor on Thursday, the Senate passed legislation addressing border security, school choice, increasing school funding, increasing penalties against human smuggling, and ending COVID vaccine mandates. Unite with conservatives at the Texas State Capitol on Jan 14th to help choose the next Speaker of the House. We will lobby our lawmakers in the morning wearing our red Ban Democrat Chairs t-shirts and then attend the general session in the House when they gavel in to vote for the speaker. We will also hold a press conference and a prayer meeting. Location: Catch the Texas Conservatives bus from the Hyatt Regency at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco at 2615 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75034.
