Governor Abbott Asserts Enduring Support of
Isreal at Solidarity Gathering in Austin

Governor Greg Abbott last night asserted Texas’ enduring support of the State of Israel and the Jewish people at a solidarity gathering for Israel at the Congregation Agudas Achim on the Dell Jewish Community Campus in Austin. Following acts of war committed against Israel by the terrorist organization Hamas, the Governor again firmly denounced the violence against America’s strongest ally in the Middle East and pledged Texas’ steadfast support of Israel’s right to defend itself, as well as enhanced public safety measures for the Jewish community in Texas.

Congressman Fallon Weighs in on US Support
of Isreal and Choosing the next Speaker of the House

Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Texas, told Newsmax on Wednesday that Republicans should unite behind “whoever gets the most votes” for House Speaker to avoid further delaying the work of Congress.

When asked if the attack on Israel over the weekend has altered the situation for Republicans as they look for the next House Speaker, Fallon said on “National Report” that “the tragedy in Israel definitely does hone the responsibilities that we have, and I would hope because we need to have a speaker, we need to have one today.”

Denton County Celebrates Firefighters

County Judge Eads wrote: “This week we gathered at the Denton County Administrative Courthouse Amphitheater in solemn remembrance and heartfelt gratitude to honor the brave, those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call to public service as firefighters across Denton County. The Denton County Firefighter Memorial Service is a poignant reminder of these heroes’ profound dedication and selflessness.”

GOP Holds Advantage on Issues

GOP dominates the economy.  A new Gallup Poll found 53 percent of Americans trust the GOP to “do a better job of keeping the country prosperous,” while only 39 percent trust Democrats, creating the largest gap recorded since 1991. Some Biden allies are urging his campaign to change its economic message amid low support. (Semafor, Politico)

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
