Stand with Israel and Secure the Border

U.S. Senator Cornyn – “We must stand with Israel”

It’s been a month since Hamas terrorists invaded parts of Israel, massacring more than 1,400 innocent civilians and abducting close to 240 hostages.  Sen. Cornyn remains resolved to support Israel in its fight against Hamas while also taking steps to secure our own southern border.

Mary Horn Inducted into the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame

On Thursday, Governor Greg Abbott inducted former Denton County Judge Mary Horn into the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame. The dinner celebrating the new inductees was held in Austin, Texas, with Texas Woman’s University (TWU) serving as home to the Hall of Fame.

Serving alongside Denton County Judge Mary Horn on the Denton County Commissioners Court was truly an honor.

Saturday Nov. 11th was the first day Candidates could file to run in the 2024 Republican Primary. We had a great turnout at Denton County Republican Party Headquarters. Outreach Event – The Colony Veterans Event

REMINDER:  Volunteer Dinner November 16th

Reminder:  If you have already made reservations, the 2023 Annual Volunteer Dinner and Awards Ceremony, emceed by Texas State Senator Tan Parker, will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, 6:00 PM at Circle R Ranch, Flower Mound, TX.  We will honor all of our hardworking DCRP volunteers and present the following awards at the dinner:

  • Outstanding Republican Club Volunteer of the Year
  • Outstanding DCRP Precinct Chair of the Year
  • Chairman’s Award
  • Outstanding DCRP Volunteer of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement AwardDEADLINE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS HAS PASSED

Christmas Party & Food Drive December 21st

A DCRP Christmas Party and Potluck Dinner will be held on December 21, 2023 from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM at Denton County Administrative Courthouse, 3rd Floor – 2020 Room.

Food Drive – Bring a food item from the list below to the party and we will donate to Constable Johnny Hammons’ Annual Holiday Meal Drive.

Items Needed:  canned corn, canned green beans, instant potatoes, instant stuffing, instant/jar gravy, biscuit mix, cornbread mix, canned cranberry sauce, boxed mac n cheese, brownie or cake mix and frosting.

Lincoln Reagan Dinner February 10, 2024

Save the date for the annual Lincoln Reagan Dinner to be held on February 10, 2024 at Embassy Suites Denton Convention Center.  This is expected to be one of the largest dinners to date, promising something new and exciting than ever before!  Ticket sales and event sponsorships will go on sale in the next weeks.  Stay tuned for updated information!
